Microsoft has released a new Windows 10 Creators Update Preview build 15046 to Fast Ring Insiders on PC. Unlike the last Preview build, today's release does bring a few feature changes and improvements - don't expect anything significant, though. The company is currently fine tuning Windows 10 Creators Update before it is rolled out to the public in April.
There are no more WSL fixes or features planned for inclusion in the Creators Update to Windows 10. Release notes for WSL will resume in the coming weeks for additions targeting the next major Windows Update. Microsoft today released a new build of the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update. Windows 10 Insider Preview build 15042 became available on the Fast Ring and has a number of new features and fixes. This is the first build of the Creators Update branch which has no watermark on the Desktop and no expiration date. This indicates that the development of Windows 10 "Redstone 2" feature update is at its end. The release of this build to the production branch is expected in April 2017, in a few months. This week on PUREinfoTech: Microsoft pushed out two test previews for its upcoming Creators Update for PC. Windows 10 build 15048 is just a minor update with bug fixes, and Windows 10 build 15046 brings pick up where you left off using Cortana, the ability to control which apps you can install on your computer, and improvements with the Windows Defender Security Center.
The new version of the wallpaper was spotted by Windows Central in Windows 10 Cloud build 15046, and as you can see, its design appears somewhat less complex than that of the original. MSPoweruser speculates that the updated wallpaper might be unique to Windows 10 Cloud, and that its simplified design is intended to align with the more 'lightweight' nature of that OS version, which will only be able to run apps downloaded from the Windows Store. 2ff7e9595c
